Hello, everyone! My contract is officially done, and I'm back in the game here...I'd like to thank everyone for the support while I've been away. I've gotten a TON more views than I expected while being completely inactive, which is very exciting. I'm starting to become a lot more active with my photography, so hopefully posts will be happening more often this year.

I have a gallery showing at UWGB in a few weeks that I am absolutely NOT ready for...so, wish me luck there. I've also got to finish editing my brother's senior portraits, and I've got two potential commissioned shoots in the works in the coming weeks. I'm going to be looking into starting up my own website this semester, so keep an eye out for that as well.

My summer has been FANTASTIC, and I hope you all had a great time as well. For those who I am watching, I'm sorry, but I won't be able to look at all your deviations. There are over 600 of them, and I really don't have that kind of time. But I'll at least browse through them.

One more week until I run off for the summer! The senior portrait shoot was a great success, and part one of my conceptual work is done...just gotta shoot part two.

So, I feel the need to apologize for my lack of activity recently. This semester really got away from me, and I didn't get nearly as much quality work done as I would have liked. I recently posted two of my more major works from my intro drawing class...as of Friday, I'll have my portfolio back for the semester, and then I'll be able to post my last major drawing. I am very excited about it, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

I've got a concept for a diptych (potentially a polyptych, not sure yet) in the works that I am starting taking images for this week Thursday. I'm still not 100% confident that I'll be able to make it work the way I want it to, but I've got high hopes for this. There's a fair chance that you won't see end results until the end of the summer, as I'll probably get really really picky about post-work and number of images, etc etc. We'll see where that ends up. I've also got some senior portrait shoots coming up, so hopefully I'll be able to get some results from that as well.

In the meantime, though, you can probably expect a continuation of the lack of activity...as of June 7th, I will be running off to be a camp counselor at my old girl scout camp, and will probably be out of contact for the most part until August. Despite the fact that I'll desperately miss everyone that I have grown accustomed to having around me, I'm excited about it. It'll be a whole new experience, and it'll be nice to have a fresh start for the summer. Something totally and utterly new to invest my energy into. ^_^
